Ponnusamy Educational and Charitable Trust, which was formed in the fond memory of his late father. The college is fully Self<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2013 Supporting and it has been founded to serve the youth of the predominantly, underprivileged and downtrodden families in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selvam College of Physical Education was started B. P.E d Degree Course in the year 2006<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2013 2007. B. P. E \u2013 Degree Course was started in the year 2007 \u2013 2008, M. P. Ed \u2013 Degree Course was started in the year 2008 \u2013 2009 and M. Phil Research Program started in the year 2010 \u2013 2011.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">P. E \u2013 Degree Course was restructured as a B. P. E. S \u2013 Degree Course in the Academic Year 2016 \u2013 2017 onwards all the courses were affiliated to Tamil Nadu Physical Education Sports University. To closely collaborate and coordinate with the Tamilnadu Physical Education and Sports University in Physical Education and Sports in matters of common interest and concern.
